Located an hour from Melbourne, Forest Theatre of Contemplative Art (FTOCA) is based in the Fryers Ridge Fauna and Flora Conserve in the Central Goldfields.
We are a not-for-profit theatre company. Our activities extend beyond this to include cooking, gardening, contemplative retreats, spiritual gatherings, guided walks, musical concerts, poetry recitals, philosophical and creative workshops..
Our Philosophy
The Forest Theatre of Contemplative Art aims to cultivate a space where people are invited to practice ‘Conscious Attention’. Through reflection upon the inner and outer world of self, the awareness of ‘Conscious Attention’ is discovered.
With open hearts, the sacredness of being with oneself and interconnected with one another, we learn to inhabit our highest presence with the flow of creativity.
Together we aim for our artistic efforts to be actualised.
